Tattoo Golf on the Duramed Futures Tour
This past weekend in Decatur Illinois, the Duramed Futures Tour held the Michelob Ultra Futures Players Championship at Hickory Point Golf Club where Tattoo Golf sponsored player Sam White tied for 19th place! Sam was even par through 54 holes but shot a sweet round of 4 under on the final day to come in at -4, only 7 strokes behind the eventual winner, Mina Harigae. Of course Sam was the best-dressed golfer out there in her Tattoo Golf gear!

The Slice is Gone!
Not that anybody's interested or really cares but my ever-present slice is finally gone! I've been plagued with a nasty slice for years & nothing I tried seemed to work so I'd resigned myself to the fact that this f***ing slice was my destiny. I took no lessons but one day I drew the ball & couldn't believe it. It had to be a mis-hit but I kept drawing the ball! I was fearful that the next time I golfed the slice would reappear but it didn't & now I'm playing better than ever.
Now when we hold our Tattoo Golf tournament I'll be able to hold my own with the rest of the crew - thank the golf Gods!

Here's a cool review of our new Pitchmaster Divot Tool from Tony Korologos of www.hookedongolfblog.com.
Tattoo Golf PitchMaster Divot Tool Review
May 22nd, 2009
Tattoo Golf is one of my all time favorite golf companies. Anyone who can mix skulls and cross bones with golf is cool in my book.
Tattoo Golf Pitchmaster
Tattoo Golf does it again. TG has a huge product line of hard edged golf items from shirts to golf bags. Now we can add one of the manliest ball repair tools known to man to the TG product line.
The Tattoo Golf PitchMaster is made out of stainless steel, so it won’t rust. The blades are retractable and there’s a magnetic ball marker on the back. Of course, all of the components sport the trademark “skull and golf bones.”
Features:
Small, perfectly formed and it fits in your pocket, the PitchMaster Divot Tool features are quality crafted to be durable and easy to use so you can repair pitch marks with minimum effort and get the most out of your game on the green.
Makes Pitch Repair Quick & Easy
Fully Retractable Fold Away Blades
Superb Quality & Rust Proof Stainless Steel
Lifetime Guarantee
Critiques
I’ve loaned this unit to a couple of pals to get their opinions. Both said this was a bit heavy and that they wouldn’t want it in their pockets. Personally, the weight doesn’t bother me. I just told my pals that my wallet, with all the cash in it, counter balanced the divot tool.
On the course
The fact that the blades are retractable is great. Many times I’ve poked myself in the groin or close due to a divot tool pointing the wrong way in my pocket. This won’t happen with the PitchMaster.
The thick forks really make a big difference and make it much easier to fix my ball marks, of which I hope there are many (meaning I didn’t miss the green).
The TG ball marker is a bonus addition which comes in handy.
Conclusion
It is hard to write an extended review on a divot tool, but this unit is great and I strongly recommend it! For $14.99 you’ll get a very strong and durable divot tool which is most definitely cooler than any other out there.

Bad Ass Stuff for Women
Check out this new site that we just found (or they just found us?)
Here's a brief review they did about our Ladies Tattoo Golf Pack. They've got a ton of other cool products so check them out! www.hercart.com.
The Par 6 - Jordyn Ladies Tattoo Golf Pack
This is all I have to say about golf, love the sport hate the clothes. I swear, finding women’s golf clothes with any style is so hard. I found this Tattoo Golf Pack for women that I really like because it’s style is more alternative but still golf course appropriate. The polo shirt in the pack is Poly-Dri which is awesome because it helps keep you cool, and for your second shirt you can choose whether you want a T-shirt or tank. The Ladies Pack also comes with a skull golf hat, black hemmed and embroidered golf towel, golf divot tool with magnetic ball marker and 20 tees.

On the Road with Tattoo Golf - to San Jose
We loaded up the Tattoo Golf Tour Van & headed to San Jose last Thursday for a golf show at the San Jose Convention Center.
It's about 5 1/2 hours from L.A. to San Jose taking the 5 straight up so we got there around 2 on Thursday & set up most of the booth. To say the show sucked would be an understatement! 1st, the show was at the "convention center" but it was more like the "convention center tent annex" since it took place in a massive, permanent tent. The attendance was light which obviously means sales will be light, which they were. When all was said & done it was definitely not a money making trip & to top it off, there's not a helluva lot to do in San Jose at night! Beers at Applebees was about the only game in town unfortunately. Needless to say, we won't be making that trip again unless the booth is free! On the other hand, we did get a chance to meet a bunch of cool people at the show & got to expose Tattoo Golf clothing to an entirely new audience so I suppose that accounts for something!

Rachel Bailey Plays 9 Holes with Greg from Tattoo Golf
I had the pleasure to meet Australian golf pro Rachel Bailey last week for lunch and 9 holes at Chevy Chase. Rachel is a fully exempt, status A-1 player on the Duramed Futures tour this year and if her play the other day is any indication, she could very well be on her way to the ladies big show in the not-so-distant future! Shooting 2 under through 9 holes on a quirky course that she'd never set foot on is quite an accomplishment. Every shot was pure & the only slip up I saw was a chip shot that landed short but she got up & down for par so no harm done. These damn wood chips at my club are something she's probably never faced or will have to face on the manicured courses she'll be playing on so I'm thinking she very well could have gone 3 under if not for that shot! Her friend Lai eagled the hardest hole on the course by flying her approach in for a 2 from about 130 out. She was also hitting off dirt under a tree well so a remarkable shot all around. Lai is also fully exempt this year & I have apologize for not knowing her last name!!
Rachel will be sporting Tattoo Golf gear for the 2009 season so keep an eye out for her this year. We'll be posting her results as she moves throught the season as well.

Ogilvy Wins - Shaw Loses
Geoff Ogilvy went wire-to-wire to win the season opener in Kapalua this past weekend. He actually was 6 clear of the field when the day started but gave back 5 to hold only a 1 stroke lead after nine but then he pulled it out & started playing again to finish at 24 under, 6 ahead of 2nd place Anthony Kim.
But the real action this weekend was at Chevy Chase CC where my club held its Ryder Cup format style tournament for the top 24 point earners from all '08 tourneys. Playing without my Tattoo Golf gear was a bit of a change for me & seemed to have a negative impact on my game! We played 3 9 hole matches with different partners on Saturday & I actually won all 3 matches so right there I contributed 3 points to my team. Putting was rock solid, the driving sucked, irons were inconsistent & chipping hit & miss. On Sunday we played individual 18 hole matches & my opponent & I were going head to head since we both have the same handicap.
I never got more than 1 up but thought that would be enough but I just couldn't hang & ended up losing the match & point. Fortunately our team ended up pulling out the victory 16 - 14 to win the Chevy Cup! Great fun. If you don't play in tournaments - you should, they're a blast & they're open to all skill levels with handicaps in place to even the playing field.
This Saturday is the Booze Shoot tourney which as the name implies will consist of much drinking & bottles of booze for all participants!

Happy New Year!!
Tattoo Golf had record sales last year despite the best efforts of the US economy to derail our plans! Makes you wonder what could have been had the financial markets not imploded? Anyway, I'm excited about the new year & looking forward to growing the TG brand & spreading our unique style of golf gear across the globe.
I'm also excited about the start of the PGA '09 season! I've played in Kapalua before on both the Bay & Plantation courses & it's one helleva tough round when the winds start whipping. Although on the final hole at the Plantation course I had my one & only 350+ yard drive & actually carded a par - one of the few that day. I guess I should mention that the hone slopes like 45 degrees so if you hit it straight, it will roll all day - but that's besides the point.
This weekend I'm playing in the year-ending tournament at my club that consists of the top 24 point earners from all 2008 tournaments. It's a Ryder Cup format with teams of 12 players competing in 2 man teams for 3 9 hole rounds on Saturday then individual matches of 18 holes on Sunday. We've got team uniforms so it will be the first time in years that I'll be teeing off in non-TG gear! Should be interesting.
