Player Alert! Mike Perez on PGA Tour

Check out Mike Perez sporting TG this week during the PGA Tour's Children's Miracle Network Classic in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Mike is a Big Break Champion & also the younger brother of PGA Tour favorite Pat Perez. Mike & Pat will be paired together during play on Thursday & Friday so check out all the action on the Golf Channel & keep your fingers crossed that Mike plays well & makes the cut!

Tattoo Golf Meets Ben Crenshaw!!

This year we met James Haugh who has the primo job of caddying for one of the all-time greats, Ben Crenshaw. James actually found us while shopping at the Kaanapali Golf Resort pro shop this past January while there to caddy for Ben during the Skins tournament. Ben & Fuzzy Zoeller lost to a couple of guys named Jack Nicklaus & Tom Watson so while disappointing to team Crenshaw, it was certainly good luck that James found Tattoo Golf! James will be sporting TG gear while out & about caddying for Ben & he just sent in this photo of himself & the boss.

New Blade Polo for Men is in!!

Check out the new Blade Polo! We went with Purple only for this one for a few reasons - 1) we thought we needed to get some color in the line to give some options other than black, white & charcoal!! 2) purple is a hot color at them moment, especially on the PGA tour with a couple of winners sporting purple on Sunday & 3) our customers asked for it! a while back we did a survey asking what colors our customers would like to see in the Tattoo Golf line-up & purple was top so there you go, we went with purple. We love this design & think you will too so look for other colors to be added down the road in '11.

Sneak Peek at New Tattoo Golf Designs!

We've been busy over here working up some new designs for the Tattoo Golf line & here are a few upcoming concepts to check out. The purple shirt is called the Blade & will be available in purple only for now & will be a Dri-Mesh material. Purple is hot these days with a couple of PGA winners this year wearing purple on Sundays. The black shirt is tentatively called the Mulligan & will be available in a super-soft poly-cotton blend fabric & will come in black for now. the 3rd shirt is unnamed & will be available in both black & maroon - both in the Dri-Mesh material so super light weight, breathable & very comfortable. Soboba Nationwide Event

We rolled the Tattoo Golf van down the road to the Nationwide Tour's Soboba Golf Classic this past Thursday to watch TG player Mike Perez compete in the biggest (most $$$!!) Nationwide Tour event of the year. Mike can really bash the ball & is extremely accurate off the tee with the driver in his hand. Unfortunately the putts weren't falling & he ended up a few strokes over par on Thursday. Things didn't improve Friday & he missed the cut but at least he looked good in his Tattoo Golf shirt! I wasn't all bad news that day, I won a few hundred at the Soboba casino!! Free money!!

We're very pleased to announce the signing of Phil Varone, former drummer of Saigon Kick and Skid Row! Phil also starred on the VH1 hit Sex Rehab with Dr Drew, TLC’s Strange Sex and Celebrity Ghost stories. Phil fits right in with Tattoo Golf's brand of Aggressive Golf Wear and will be rocking the line both on & off the course. Phil played golf in high school and went on the play junior golf in South Florida where he spent his teen years. These days, Phil enjoys playing in celebrity / charity events and continues to hit the links at every chance he gets.

We're back!!!

We're back with a promise to be more diligent in keeping the Tattoo Golf Blog fresh & up-to-date. Please feel free to leave comments, suggestions or critiques as any & all input is important to us!! We've been working on quite a few new items this year & one of them has been our all-new re-designed OB men's Polo shirt! The old design just wasn't quite what we were after when we launched in last year but now we believe we nailed it! The OB maintains the overall look of the original but with a much softer feel that allows the shirt to still breath which will keep you nice & cool on those hot afternoons out on the course.
